Button Placket Sweater

A simple sweater made from the top down with a three button placket, made in stripes using a main and contrast colour.

To add some fun to the design I used 3 novelty buttons (train, boats and bear) and adorned with an appliqué motif (bumble bee, monkey face and tiger).

Size to fit approx:- 20” inch chest 6-12 month baby
Finished length from shoulder approx 12 inches
Sleeve length from underarm to cuff approx 6.5 inches

MATERIALS
Light worsted weight #3 yarn (USA)

OR

UK double knitting/8ply AUS

Crochet hook size
4.00mm
you can use different hook sizes for:- 3-6 months 3.50mm, 12-18 4.50mm
